Our wide range of studios are designed to offer the maximum in terms of insulation and appearance in your garden.

Relax all year round in your own cosy garden room - have a bespoke design to suit you.  Whether you need northern light for painting or short windows to allow for a model railway, we can do it.
 

Exmoor studios include all the features of our offices, with the addition of double patio doors, vaulted ceiling lined inside with pine tongue and groove boarding up to the ridge and a 300mm wide canopy over the door. 
The addition of a veranda with decking enhances the appearance and the usefulness of the building. 
Corner posts and railings may be added as required.  
Roof canopies are lined on the underside with pressure treated tongue and groove boarding.
 
Insulation may be upgraded if required, using foil backed polyurethane boards and Low E double glazing.

Electical installations and painted walls are available.  Please ask.

Garden Studios - Exmoor

Floor.  18mm hardwood ply insulated with 50mm polystyrene and sheathed with 6mm ply. 75mm x 38mm joists at 400mm centres.

Walls.  Sectional timber panels of redwood shiplap timber on 75mm x 38mm frames. Eaves height of 2.13m. Breathable wall membrane and vapour barrier included.

Windows.  Joinery manufactured softwood casement windows, preservative treated, with locking catches and trickle ventilators.  Frames either 1.2m or 1.05m high.  Sealed double glazed units with 4mm float glass and 12mm air gap.

Doors.  Framed tongue and groove pattern or top half glazed, if required, with toughened glass, size 750mm wide x 1980mm high. Double doors fully glazed, size 1170mm wide x 1980mm high.  Doors are treated with a preservative and hand painted with Sikkens light oak microporous wood stain with UV filter top coat.  Doors have 5 lever mortice lock and solid brass furniture.  Door frame: weatherproof frame with seal and hardwood threshold.

Roof.  Plastic coated steel box or corrugated profile sheeting (plastisol) on a breathable roof membrane. We also offer felt shingles, cedar shingles or a slate roof, if required.

Interior.  All walls and ceiling insulated with 100mm glass mineral wool and lined with 12.5mm MDF.

Rainwater goods.  Black pvc half round gutter, down pipes and fixings.

All exposed timber pressure treated.  Windows and doors frames stained with a brown preservative prior to delivery.
