Our premium design of garden Studio.

We offer the ultimate in garden buildings with the inclusion of foil backed Celotex polyurethane insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling.  Together with the highest standard of heat reflective double glazing, this is a building you will be able to use in comfort all year round.  Our customers use these buildings for a variety of purposes, including art studios,music rooms, gyms or even a spare bedroom.

Exterior walls are painted in a wide choice of colours.  Windows and doors are painted in a 3 coat system. 
The roof is of cedar shingles or slate. The roof pitch is increased to 30 degrees to enhance the appearance of the building.  The interior walls are lined in a choice of tongue and groove effect MDF, painted with an emulsion paint finish, or pine tongue and groove boarding in natural finish.  
Lighting, power points and an electric heater are included, as is a telephone socket.  Finally we will install a solid wood floor in choice of oak, beech, birch or maple.

Canopies and verandas may be added to enhance the appearance and your enjoyment of you garden room.

Garden Studio - Dartmoor

Floor.  18mm hardwood ply insulated with Celotex  and sheathed with 6mm ply. 75mm x 38mm joists at 400mm centres.

Walls.  Sectional timber panels of redwood shiplap timber on 75mm x 38mm frames. Eaves height of 2.13m. Breathable wall membrane and vapour barrier included.

Windows.  Joinery manufactured softwood casement windows, preservative treated and painted with Dulux Weathershield 3 coat system.with locking catches and trickle ventilators. Standard frame sizes 1200mm or 1050 high. Sealed double glazed units with 4mm float glass and 12mm air gap.
PVC windows and doors also available in a variety of colours.

Doors.  Framed tongue and groove pattern  or top half glazed if required with toughened glass, size 750mm wide x 1980mm high. Double doors fully glazed, size 1170mm wide x 1980mm high. Doors are painted with the Dulux Weathershield 3 coat system. Doors have 5 lever mortice lock and solid brass furniture. Door frames have a weather-seal and hardwood threshold.

Roof.  Cedar shingles or a slate roof are standard on Dartmoor studios.

Insulation.  All walls and ceilings are insulated with Celotex insulation. 
Interior.  Choice of tongue and groove effect mdf painted in emulsion or togue and groove pine boarding. Flooring of engineered oak , beech, birch or maple.

Rainwater goods.  Black pvc half round gutter, down pipes and fixings.

All exposed timber pressure treated. Windows and door frames stained with a brown preservative prior to delivery.
