Workshops
If you need more than just a 'shed' then you are on the right page. Our timber workshops are built from heavy duty framing and flooring. The walls are strong enough to support shelves and tool racks. The timber floors are made to take heavy weights with close joist spacings.
Our prices include the base work for timber floored buildings. Just provide a level site and let us do the rest with concrete blocks and timber floor bearers! Please ask about installing a concrete floor if you would prefer this to a timber floor. This is ideal for very heavy workshop equipment or motorbike storage.
Free delivery west of Bristol is also included.
Does your old shed need removing? We can do it. Please ask us to quote for this.
Planning permission may be needed – ask us. We can help with this. Look at 'Further information' for details about planning rules.
All workshops are made to order, so please let us know how you would like the building to be laid out.
Roof. The roof construction will ensure a building that will last for many years with little maintenance. The plastisol steel roof is mounted over a membrane and OSB board fixed to heavy timber trusses
Windows may be fixed or top hung opening. However extra windows may be installed if required.
Our doors may be ordered in a choice of sizes, 900mm wide is the standard size but often we are asked for double doors. There are a variety of options on door position. Please discuss this at the time of ordering. Security. Doors are fitted with a strong padbolt, designed to take a padlock and door security is increased by the replacement of some screws on the hinges and door bolt with the use of dome head bolts.

Water butt, size 200 litre with stand, rainwater diverter and base slab £95 plus VAT
Rooflight, 1m x 1m, with inner perspex lining - £115 plus VAT

Workshops
Specifications
Workshops are sectional timber buildings of bolted construction
Floor. 18mm OSB board on 75mm x 47mm joists at 400mm centres.
Walls. Selected Scandinavian redwood shiplap timber, 75mm x 38mm frames in most cases, lined with breathable wall membrane.
Doors. Ledge and braced, tongue and groove selected Scandinavian redwood. Door posts 95mm x 75mm
Windows. Redwood frames, screwed construction. Pane size 710mm x 610mm (2'4" x 2'). Opening windows top hung with 300mm (12") casement stay.
Roofs. Roof of bolted timber sections using 11mm OSB board. All roofs have a strong plastic coated steel roof (plastisol) in a choice of colours laid over a high quality roofing membrane. Cedar or felt shingles and slate are also avaiable.
Guttering. All our buildings 3.6m x 3 m in size, or larger, have black PVC rainwater goods included as standard.
