When Mr and Mrs M first saw a summerhouse on the John Shields Woodwork website they decided to view the buildings on display at North Tawton.
They were impressed by the pine finish in the studios on display and decided on an insulated summerhouse with plastisol corrugated roof.
A site visit ensured that plans were made for levelling the ground and constructing the base. Timber bearers and concrete blocks were chosen to support the floor, once the site had been levelled.
Planning permission was not required. This enabled a speedy conclusion to the project with all work being carried out in a month.
The large double glazed doors and windows give clear views of the beautiful garden and surrounding Devon countryside.
