Our wide range of studios are designed to offer the maximum in terms of insulation and appearance in your garden.
The standard studios include all the features of our offices, with the addition of double patio doors, roof lined inside with pine tongue and groove boarding up to the ridge and a 300mm wide canopy over the door. Standard windows are 1.2m high. The addition of a veranda with decking enhances the appearance and the usefulness of the building. Corner posts and railings may be added as required. Roof canopies are lined on the underside with pressure treated tongue and groove boarding.
Insulation of the building is achieved with the use of glass mineral wool insulation and double glazing. Together with the good thermal value of wood, this offers excellent U values for insulation. Internal partition walls are available, as required. Floors are insulated with polystyrene. Insulation ratings can be increased, if required. Please ask.

Dartmoor Studios
Our premium design of garden Studio.
We offer the ultimate in garden buildings with the inclusion of 70mm foil backed Celotex foam insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling. Heat reflective double glazed units with argon filled cavities are used. Exterior walls are painted in Saddolin opaque wood protection in a wide choice of colours. Windows and doors are given a 3 coat treatment painted in primer, undercoat and gloss paint finish. The roof is of cedar shingles. The roof pitch is increased to 30 degrees to enhance the appearance of the building. The interior walls are lined in a choice of tongue and groove effect MDF painted with an emulsion paint finish, or pine tongue and groove boarding in natural finish. Lighting, power points and an electric heater are included, as is a telephone socket. Finally we will install a laminate floor in choice of oak, beech, birch or maple.
